Central Heating Pump
Most modern circulating pumps are suitable for indirect open vented or sealed type installations, there are many types of pumps but for domestic applications there are three main variants.
- Fixed Head
- Three Speed Fixed Head Circulator
- Automatic Variable speed Circulator
The most common is the three speed variety, with a fixed head it has a speed control for energy efficiency and more precise system matching with the benefit of reduced system noise.
In large domestic properties utilising "micro bore" 8-10mm pipework a pump with a higher head should be used.
